Introduction
Osteoarthritis is the commonest degenerative joint disease. No proven treatment to regenerate cartilage has been available so far. Cartilage regeneration with paracrine substances (the secretome) from adipose derived mesenchymal stem cells was studied in a bovine cartilage explant osteoarthritis model using specific biomarkers and histology.
